Joumana Brihi created remark in 2009 after having worked for 10 years in the fields of strategic communication, marketing, market research and industry analysis.
Joumana has worked as an in-country research analyst with several international market intelligence companies including Euromonitor International and M-Brain. She has completed a large number of research reports and strategic plans for SMEs, startups and established companies, developing country and industry specific knowledge in the fields of travel and tourism, hospitality, real estate, consumer finance, consumer healthcare, consumer electronics and many more, covering 9 MENA markets.
She also worked as a full time strategic communication consultant for five years at a Lebanese owned regional strategic communication consultancy: S2C.
In recent years, Joumana has provided strategic communication and research services to various international development organizations including Mercy Corps, the UNDP, and the European Union. Her projects have aimed to help better understand the Lebanese macroeconomic environment, as well as the social fabric of the country and concerns among vulnerable communities; or in other instances to better communicate and reach out to a variety of stakeholders.
Joumana holds a Master’s degree in International Marketing Management from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. She was born and raised in Lebanon.
